SealFoam™ / StarFoam™  Absorbable Polysaccharide Hemostat is a plant based, absorbable hemostatic foam which is delivered to the sterile field in a double barrier tray. Lyophilized and pliable, SealFoam™ / StarFoam™ is a wafer-like pad which may be trimmed to suit the surgical procedure. SealFoam™ / StarFoam™ utilizes the same AMP™ technologies as all SMI products and is indicated for a diverse range of press-and-release applications and unique wound contours. CE mark for SealFoam™ / StarFoam™ was awarded in December, 2008.
